Amaranthe (Suecia)

Amaranthe (inicialmente Avalanche) es una agrupación musical sueca/danesa de power metal/death metal melódico creada en 2008 por Jake E. (Dreamland, ex-Dream Evil) y Olof Mörck (Nightrage, Dragonland). Posteriormente el proyecto coge forma con la llegada de la vocalista Elize Ryd (conocida por haber colaborado con Kamelot y Dragonland entre otros), el vocalista Andreas Solvestrom (Cipher System, Whithin Y), el baterista danés Morten Løwe Sørensen (The Cleansing, Koldborn, Mercenary) y finalmente el bajista Johan Andreassen (Engel). En el año 2009 se vieron forzados a cambiar su nombre de Avalanche a Amaranthe¹ por motivos legales y ese mismo año lanzaron una demo denominada Leave Everything Behind.
